Mission

Illiteracy and lack of education have historically contributed to the perpetuation of war, conflict, and poverty in Afghanistan. Our mission is to address this fundamental issue. Access to education for young girls in Afghanistan has been a contentious political issue for decades. However, the Bibi Female School stands as a beacon of hope, providing hundreds of young girls with access to invaluable educational resources.

Curriculum

The curriculum encompasses a comprehensive array of subjects, including Mathematics, English, Reading, Writing, Pashto, Health and Social Education, Religious Studies, and Computer Literacy courses. Our educational model combines modern educational principles with religious studies, a deliberate strategy aimed at mitigating potential opposition from parents in conservative religious communities and preempting conflicts with religious groups.

Facility

The facility spans 3,000 square feet and operates on solar power, featuring six classrooms equipped to deliver education. Catering to a diverse range of learners, the Bibi Female School accommodates students spanning from 6 to 44 years of age. Presently, the program operates at full capacity, with 500 enrolled students. In addition, we had to expand our school due to the closure of schools in Kabul and an increased demand from families wishing to send their children to our school. Currently, there is a waitlist of over 100 students.
